Ever been embarassed? You know, you are out in public and your child says something with a normal voice about a stranger who can probably hear it and might not understand the background of the statement. I have 2 good ones from going to the gym. Cole is the "Nudity police" as I sometimes call him. If he sees a male jogging or riding a bike he likes to yell out, "he's nudity, nudity" (a word we never used until his cousins educated him on it). He also may say this if he is just lifting up his shirt to show us his tummy. We were walking into the gym and there was a woman wearing a athletic tank top. It was a little more than a sports bra, but more on the lesser side of work out tank tops. Cole made sure to point out, "she's nudity, nudity". More recently we were getting out of the car (at the gym again) and a woman in the next row was getting a child out of her car. She was African American and had a
bandanna tied on her head. Cole saw this and goes, "hey, she's being a pirate!" That is the only thing he has ever used a
bandanna for obviously. I am hoping that neither woman heard his comment. Most likely, at least one heard.
